Title: Rio Salado
Post by: choronr on October 30, 2009, 03:36:47 PM
A procedural terrain with river cut through; and, a second terrain added to the background.

Models: Grass by 'klas'; Hananah flowers by 'Bobby Stahr'; and, ground cover by 'lightning'.

Nice realism render, Bob. I especially like the stony path.

Great one Bob.  I like the round hills.

Very nice.... There is something that says CG (possibly the rock texturing, maybe inject a few more colours into the bare rocks...subtly)... BUT,  I still feel like I'm there. The clarity and depth are brilliant. It's like you could reach out and touch stone or something.
Cheers,
Simon.

Yeah, just some small scale displacement and color variation on the rocks would work wonders.  As it stands though, the image is composed very well.

Pretty nice work.  I agree about the composition - very nice.  The ground could use a dusty look, but otherwise it looks like the beginning of a good movie.
