featuring Walli's extra large file size Noble One Tree. :)

C & C welcome
It's a great looking tree. You have done a good job displaying it. I think I would have made the smaller trees less dense, so the full Noble Tree could be viewed.
now there are less ash trees.
now I'm adding a small path with fake stones in it, leading up to the noble one tree.
I really like this image and are waiting for the next one.
Zaai999 you aren't using the alpha build of TG2,do you?
I wonder how much better the objects would be rendered with the new build?
Kadri.
nope, I'm not using the alpha build.
Very nice image. However I guess a second gras population would be fine.
Ah, come on, that's a photo! 8)

Nice update Zaai999.
I like the path but a little more of the ash trees would not be bad.
You can not please everyone.
The first one was good enough for me :D
Cheers.
Kadri.
actually i reduced the ash trees because Njeneb said he wanted to see more of the Noble One Tree, if he had'nt i would have just left them alone.

;D
i just noticed something a little while ago when looking at my render on DevArt, it appears some of the ash trees are missing parts of their trunks....need to fix that.
Simply beautiful but I gotta say I liked the setup in version 1 better :) The path is brilliant, though. In the small version these do look like photos.
This new version is great. Nice work!
you may not know it but, from this pov, but the path splits in two different directions, but they both lead back to the Noble one tree.
of course I'm gonna have to make a night version of this, probadly one with a LampPost :)
really great work!!!
What settings did you make on the grass and the trees. I tried the Noble One and some grass but in my images they look very artificial :-[
the noble one is just a single object, i changed the displacement a bit on the bark, the grasses are set to medium detail.
as for other settings i used: Deatail-0.9, AA-8 GI-1/1.
The new version is really nice. the path is well done and the Noble is sweet.
Simon.
thank you guys,
the night version with a LampPost is on its way :)
I was wondering where the darkness was..... ::)
Simon.
Night time version ;)

(are you happy now littlecannon?)
I like this very much. The lamp really makes the image more interesting.
I'm still trying to figure out how to Deviant, but I'll get there.
I like that approach a lot! Now some wisps of fog...
actually i had already thought about adding some fog, i'll add that next.
;D This is very cool. Looks like an Autumn evening, damp air and you can see your breath when you breathe.
Simon.
The bark looks fantastic.
The first ones reminded me of Africa (not that this trees would live there ..)
But with only one lamp inserted the last one looks like a nearby park in the night .
I like this render Zaai999 :)
Kadri.

interesting
i have actually been trying to create a scene like this for a while (a night scene), in the past they didn't come out as close what i was going for, but thanks to walli I've came so much closer.
the version with fog is in the works, i'll probably have a hi-res/hi-quality render in a day or two. ;)
here it is, a version with fog

...get's scarier every time ;D
now in Black white and you have the perfect scenery for an Edgar Wallace movie ;-)
It needs some werewolves now. Very spooky looking.

hey MacGyver, would find it more scary if i rendered it larger than 1200x1600?
i'l make a BW version later.
Eez nice one, senior!
Very good, man. The best of the series for sure.

Wouldn't fit on my screen anymore. I hate scrolling. So that would be pretty scary ;D

Sweet, It needs the Wolfman from the old Hollywood movies there. Fantastic scene.
Simon.
I really like the concept of this image, but...
by my reckoning the leaves of the 'noble' tree are about a foot in diameter when guaged by the other trees.
Sorry :-\

Sorry :-\
that is because the noble one tree is on a higher scale compared to the other trees
