This topic is rather far from the usual, but people here are generally so helpful that I thought I'd see if anyone knows anything.
I'm looking to buy a Car DVD player with two screens for a 6 hour drive up to Scotland with two kids in the back. Having done some research into available models here in the UK, I've been surprised at how few choices there are for two-screen models. The only recognisable brand name I can find is Philips - the rest (only 4 or 5) are ones I don't know. This seems very strange - why no competition from Sony or Hitachi or Panasonic or Samsung? Is there something peculiar about this market, which I would have thought would be larger?
Anyway, if anyone has any thoughts or - even better - any experience - I'd appreciate it.
Maybe Personal portables would be better. The kids could watch these in the hotel rooms. ;)
