Title: Serengeti - Red Update
Post by: dandelO on November 16, 2009, 10:13:57 AM
Animal models are all DAZ3D freebies, trees are my own, grasses are Walli's and bushes are Mr_Lamppost's.

Yes, cool image! These DAZ models (Safari) are great. I tried an image 3 weeks ago (TG2 with DAZ elephants, zebras, 1 panther and Victoria) but ...  :(  (the problem were not the models .... the problem was my know how with TG2   :D)

With which software did you build the trees?

Wow...
Very original indeed.
This is begging for animation...
It would be super if there was rigging and animation tools for objects in TG2 ( Matt will kill me  ;D )

I imagine dropping the sun's strength would help with the orangey colour a couple of you've suggested. Maybe leave it running tonight and see how it looks in the morning. I don't like to change the actual colour of my sun.
This sun is about strength '2.5' I think, maybe a strength around '1' would be cool, it isn't as if I need it high to light anything up...

Thanks for the nice comments, folks! :)

*Forgot to mention, the wee moths at the lower right are from an unknown source uploaded to Turbosquid.

Little edit, bringing more red into it. Maybe too much, I dunno, I'm done with this now anyway.

I still think the sun should be yellower and the sky bright red.
