Hi guys,
I was just playing and somehow went into this direction. It's a relatively low quality render still, but I'm planning to work on it some more, also render bigger and higher quality for the next iteration.
Cheers,
Frank
Very good mood Frank. Um, maybe some knights receiving a quest?
Awesome Frank! I really like how you've managed to retain the blue sky while still giving the powerful lighting.
good start
larger, higher quality
Awe-inspiring rays. From a compositional angle, I'd be inclined to crop 20% off the left, as the bright patch of sky over there distracts from the main event.
Wild stuff. I can't think of who used to have lighting in their paintings like this. I think it was a Spanish artist during the Renaissance. This reminds me of one of his works. Goya?
Love the rays and lighting, though I think I preferred the clouds, composition, etc. of the first. I'd like to see it with higher quality and some more detail in the terrain. Maybe something for the light to be shining on down there, dramatically lighting it up. :)

Very dramatic, great lighting! Reminds me of Scotland. I'm inclined to say it's slightly too harsh, but perhaps the drama would fade if you'd have less contrast. I'd like to see where this one ends...

Very impressive and dynamic! Great artwork!
AAAhhhhhhh... and so the Angels sing. Very heavenly Frank.
Simon.
I'm flattered that you like it. I have rendered another version of the first render at high detail and large, but I have a problem with banded colors in the dark part of the clouds. You can also see this in the currently posted render, but I thought that may have been due to the relatively low render quality. I don't have time to look into this in the next 2 or 3 days, but will revisit this scene then and figure out what I can do against the banding.
Frank
Frank did you post on the jpg , tif or so? If think if you make the post on the EXR and then convert it there shouldn't such problem.
Saving here as a jpg is another matter of course. But i think you know this kind of problems anyway ;)
Kadri.
yeah, I'll check this out in a few day :)
Very nice.
