Title: seaside
Post by: tempaccount on November 30, 2009, 02:37:38 PM
Something finished for once - a small project with a very basic idea that ended up rather big. Made some heavy postwork on it later, but this one is straight out of TG2; just modified exposure levels and gamma.

Version with postwork available in here: http://palesky.deviantart.com/art/seaside-145296246

At least to me it looks fine with the postwork applied. :) Maybe you could increase the samples of the clouds to get rid of the grain in them?

Pretty much tried anything to get rid of the grain - samples in atmo and clouds are already very high, I'd risked an even longer render with bumping them up over 1. Not really sure what was going on in the scene. Maybe something to do with the painted shader or my cloud fractal, or the low light.
