Hi,
just noticed something that occurs when you use a Power Fractal Shader
connected to the color function input of the Default Shader to colorize
an object (see attachment please) and wanted to know if it is supposed
to work like that or not.
I tried it with 3 objects by now and no matter if it's an older model or a
newly imported always the same (unwanted) result.
It looks like a bug. Diffuse colour should be the same with and without ray tracing.

I can reproduce this both with old and newly imported objects both singly and as members of populations. Although it only affects power fractals, the purely function driven pattern used as a merge controller in this example is unaffected.

So far I haven't been able to reproduce the problem. Can you please provide a .tgd and the object used?
