The original render of this has been one of my most visited images on FLickr. I have been wanting to do a larger render of it since I paid for the full version. The long render time was discouraging.
This render only took 16 hours with version 2.1. This is about 1/3 the time I thought it would take. I hope you all like it.

I did not change anything other than to move the moon, and use the random seed of the landscape.
Cool. What galaxy is that in? It would be cool to have a wormhole leading there...
This is fairly local, in the milky way. Since I am slightly agoraphobic, I don't like to travel far. It orbits a small sun near the Crab Nebula.
Might be cool to see this in Celestia...
