Increase the detail and AA for crisper results.
Bill is right. More AA would really help. I would also bring the sun down below the cloud for some nice sun beams.
Did you test this with smaller waves? They might look better, but that's up to you. I look forward to see more!

It will take longer to render, but increasing the atmosphere sample will make the god rays really 'pop'. Very nice work!
