These palms would look good on a shore line of an island or just a shore with a nice beach. I think it would be a good project.
There is a nice variation here. I would add a distribution shader to the blend input at the bottom of the population. Use the measure tool to get a horizontal distance across the landscape in the preview. About 1/3 of this measurement would be the scale for the density shader of the distribution shader. The Lead-in scale would be the full measurement. The smallest scale would be twice the population density. By doing this, it breaks up the regular look of a population. It helps make things look more 'natural'.

More variations in height/scale would really help.
