C & C always welcome
wow, thats not a good place for insects though ;-)
Nice concept - I like the clarity and the lighting on the plants
walli, i think your Amphora Luminis is the most realistic object i have used so far :)
got another render going right now..
hmm, I don't know... The scene as a whole is not your best, please forgive me saying that. The population is terminates in line with the horizon, and there's little variation on the ground. What if you add a few very low rolling hills, a couple fake rocks and a few other species?
Cheers,
Frank
I agree with Frank on this one. This plant needs a tight camera shot, against a rock and/or tree with some interesting stuff around it.
This is a good way to test the object. I don't use so many instances, but I do a render with several rotations and scales represented.
It remembers me an alien landscape i did way ago...

starting off on this project was a troublesome one,
i'm currently remaking most of this scene, different terrain, adding stones, dense patches unusally colored grass underneath the Amphora Luminus..i'll add more stuff as i go along.
i'll have another render out sooner or later
I am Looking forward to see your next render! 8)
here is the latest version i've came up with :)
That reddish ground cover sets off the plants nicely.
I like the reddish color for the grass also. This is a very good start. Keep going!
im still tweaking the terrain, might add some additional vegitation too
