Title: Biggest Full Moon and Mars visible together -TONIGHT

note: on my way to work early this morning, the moon looked friggen massive!  Was quite a sight to see.
And then I came home and found this link:

I'm fascinated by the Moon, I love it. I actually track it throughout the month. It's a confusing bugger, though.

I took a quick shot of it yesterday with my Canon 7D and Canon 500L IS + 1.4x = 700mm  :)

Nice render ;D I can almost see Moon Base Alpha! 8)

Really, this is a good shot.  It could probably be used as an image map for the moon.

thanks, it was just a quick hand held shot. It was -25C and I didn't want to set up my tripod. Feel free to use it

Nice show here, at 7:30 am: Mars, just near the full moon lighting the cumulus, setting on the "Ar Gentilez (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jentilez)" archipelago...

I remember a really cool Moon shot you had posted on TN before, too, really big and crystal clear it was.
