I thought how they are doing this for a long time . If there are some magic (!) techniques  :)
But in the end it seems it is very labor heavy . Not that i underestimate the work they are doing .
It is the same as making the matte paintings like they are 3d , it seems .

The 2009 Superbowl was coded in Colorcode 3D.

It looks almost like normal video without glasses, but with the ColorCode glasses, it looks 3d - and with no loss of the color spectrum.
