Using the same file as used for my last image, I came up with this POV. The files used are:
• 'The Noble One' tree by Walli - available at the Planetside Forum.
• 'Dry Shrub' by Walli - available at NWDA.
• 'Gras7' by klas - available at the Planetside Forum.
• 'Hannana Rose by Bobby Stahr - available at Ashundar.
• Cloud file from NWDA.
Render time approximate 5 hours; 40 minutes.
a very serene scene, Bob :-)
nice...

Very nice, Bob. But the stones seem to have been textured by other fake stone shaders, 1/8th their original size.
I'd try a set of power fractals, that don't apply colour/displacement to only smaller areas than your original stones.
Nice scene as usual, man! :)
A little tweaking(I'd still shrink the largest stones, somewhat) could make this beauty, incarnate! :)
Oh, this is more than nowhere Bob!!! It's a fine example of what can be achieved!!!!!

Thank you Frank. I'm pretty happy with this terrain I created and the tutorial I followed which Franck wrote. From it, I have several different scenes in mind for the future.

Hi dandelO,
Glad you liked the scene. I agree with you about the largest stone scale and will reduce their size. There are three sizes of fake stones; the smallest has the lightest color; the mid size has the reddish color and is sized perfectly. I'll see if I can follow your explanation to correct the issue of the small stones' color appearing on the other ones. My latest project will be using the same basic file. Hopefully, the stones will appear better. Thanks for your suggestions.

Thanks Mark. I'm pretty happy with the results of the scene and started another project using the same file - this time it will be an Arizona desert scene.

No prob's, Bob.
I just thought that the largest stones could have been slightly smaller, that's all.
You'll see in the biggest stones that there appear to be some geometrically large forms, with these kind-of smaller hexagonal/pentagonal white shading on them, for colour. That's all I meant. :)
I love this render, in the long-run , I wish I'd done it myself! I'd be very happy with it!

Thanks for your thoughts and explanation - and, glad you liked the picture. I'm working on the stones in another scene; and are doing some re-coloring and resizing for a desert scene.
I've been grappelling with a similar problem with fake stones - turned out to be 2 distribution shaders. ! worked OK 2 gave the wierd coloring you have. Try using a surface shader for distribution.
BTW excellent atmosphere and colour in this pic
Wow - this is even better again! The sky, lighting and water are all brilliant! The scene is well-constructed too - great job here :D
very nice job.
good pov, good atmo and lovely water
Love this one. Very late fall feeling, makes me want to go camping.
