Hi Marc,

You have great creative ability. I recommend you to share your knowledge with other students. It may be helpful for them and they could do something unique and better with the help of your guidance.

That's very kind.

The ivy is not a mystery or a boat-load of modeling. The link below will take you to Thomas Luft's Ivy Generator.

The only think I do is take high resolution photos of ivy leafs and the vines and clean them up in Photoshop creating an alpha channel for transparancy.

The IG is a fantastic little app'. You can do great things with it. I also just like sitting and watching it growing. Minutes of fun! :)
