Post by: bakbek on February 20, 2010, 09:42:21 AM
Hello,

Is it possible already to render out straight out of TG2 a spherical hdr image (full 360 hdr)

Many thanks
Ronen

Short answer is no.
Longer answer is maybe if your cleaver enough. I think theres a couple of scripts about for rendering out cube maps (or you could do that manually, up, down, left, right, back, fore), these can be converted to a spherical map (hdrshop maybe?) You could also render out an animation of the camer (set the camera to a wide virtical field of view and the render to a tall thin format) turning a full 360 deg, then you need to stitch it all together.
Good luck
Richard

Direct spherical rendering is not yet possible. We do hope to add additional camera types for rendering in the future.
