There are different layers of various types of voronoi noise at different scales. It would be like a cake of various terrain types. I think the fractured tops of the peaks would be the most difficult.

I was there last august. To cool, beyond words. I am still trying to get something like this myself. Not easy without iso-terrains or bolien operations. There should be a way. If Vue can do stuff like this, then Terragen 2 should as well.
