A friend invited me to post some TG to their Myspace page. I had no idea what to post so, I tried a quick recreation of one of his paintings.

I will post the original painting into the next comment here for comparison. You'll notice my clouds are pretty poor. I'm not too great at TG clouds so I didn't spend much time on them, I just got the seed to fit the general areas that the clouds are positioned in the painting.
Models made in Carrara, post work in PS. Not too shabby for a night's work, I suppose.

You're pretty good at getting TG to form to a reference, you've got the mountains pretty much spot on here, and the post work has bound it all together well. Can I say that I prefer your version? Probably not. Oh well, just have. I'd be interested to know what the flags spelt.
Cheers, Hetzen. I have no idea of the significance of the flags or any other part of the image, except than it means 'rectangle', he likes geometric shapes in his painting. Maybe Gunther will chime in, he's a member here, too.
