A vision i had not to long ago about another world. This came fairly close to what i imagined with some faults, however when dealing with a lot of displacements in this scene, it is fair enough.
Neat. Try reducing the amplitude of the small-scale displacements. Also, the moons look kinda weird.
The small-scale displacements represent a rigid old lava flow of sorts. The moons could use some work. Originally i wanted some more visible displacement but they are supposed to be weird, it's all fictional. ;D
Al33 nice image :)
"...but they are supposed to be weird, it's all fictional. "
I don't know how much you are in 3D and so...But someone who sees your image (especially the lower part )
would think of displacements made in a 3D software .
I know what you mean. But it isn't so easy to make the fictional look without "made in a 3D package" stamp over it.
The upper part is Ok (subjective) . But i would push the lower part a little more. With more detail or-and color variation or fake stones and so.
I love Space images . I am curious how far you would bring this image further.
(These thoughts above are intend to encourage you ... not to be harsh :) )
Kadri.
I may and try to attack the lower land parts some more if i have time. My PC is old so my patience is thin here.
I understand were you are coming from so i have no ill's over anything. ;D
The lower land part is full of fake stones but, yes it could use some work.
Well, i lowered the displacements by half and everything looked better overall but my PC froze so i am going to move onto something else as this is too heavy to finish.
Pity !
