Title: ProTrees
Post by: MGebhart on March 22, 2010, 09:49:39 PM
Introducing ProTreestm.

ProTreestm are expertly detailed vegetation solutions developed for Planetside's Terragen 2tm.

ProTreestm will change the way you think about content used to develop your environmental projects. Never again will artists need to sacrifice design choices and settle for a look and feel bound by a limited set of low quality vegetation populations.

ProTreestm are developed using a work flow involving highly respected graphics programs. Xfrog, 3D Studio MAX, and Zbrush are utilized in the work flow to create stunning vegetation that will take your renderings to the next level.

Multiple high resolution Bark, Stem, Leaf, and Flower image maps are incorporated into each creation. Each map component includes translucency, displacement, specular and alpha entries to enhance realism. 3D fruit geometry will be included with appropriate plants and trees.

Each offering will also include 3 variations of the species and detailed information about its growth, region and uses.

Also included will be detailed instructions on how to configure each tree and plant for maximum diversity, virtually eliminating clone like appearances.

Don't worry about the availability of free trees at Trees for Terragen 2tm. We will continue development and have them available for the casual Terragen2tm hobbyist. Why should you be left out of the loop?

ProTreestm is currently in development and will offer a FREE sample tree so you can explorer the unlimited possibilities and quality of our product. There will be a posting on the Trees for Terragen2tm website in the near future. Keep checking back.

Visit Trees for Terragen2tm for all your lumber needs. :D

It's nice and clean looking. Sets a good corporate image.

I like the new logo, but I'm not very keen on those clouds. I think they are too hard (like cauliflower), and do not represent what you want to sell (trees). Personal opinion, mind you.

Dune,

Yes, after a better look they do appear like a menacing vegetable.

Will change it, Thanks.

Um, Marc; this is really very dark. I would lighten it up in Photoshop.

Yeah.  They actually look like pyroclastic flows like those that came from Mt St. Helens when it blew its top.  Nice trees.  Got anything that's extinct?

I don't understand why people tend to like those kind of clouds. I've always thought about the pyroclastic thing when looking at them...
@the topic: Trees are just not enough and these high quality ones are great!!!

MGebhart , i did one or two logos in the past. I hate it  :)
It looks so easy but is so hard. I think the best ones are the plain (simple ?) ones.
So much you try to put in it , so worser they get ! Just my thoughts  :)

I used to logos using Lightwave. Most clients wanted a very 'clean' look. I always found this boring.

Me too  :) We like pictures and think in that way maybe. But Logos aren't pictures.
Years later i see the logos i made as very bad examples now because of this ;)
