hi guys !
I've been very very busy with some project this last months but i had the time to do some renders for fun the last 4 days...
you can see them in my gallery, sorry not to attach them directly in the forum, i hope you'll go look at them anyway ^^
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4068/4481515482_f76bfc01bc_o.jpg => Cyanomango
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2740/4481515914_69176303f2_o.jpg => Misty Paradise
thanks for viewing !
Seth.
Love them both. They have a slight "painterly" quality which adds nicely to the effect :)
Richard
Very nice Seth!
I like them both but prefer the lighting and composition of the misty paradise.
The Cyanmango is fun because of the colors. I like the Misty Paradise better.
thanks guys ^^
same as you, i prefer the Misty Paradise :)
love the trees...are they xfrog?...very cinematic Seth...love them both!
yes, they are from xfrog library ^^
thanks for the "cinematic" comment, that is exactly what i had in mind !!!
I like misty paradise best, very serene,
i also really like the trees in that one too, :)
Nice renders , Seth .
Cyanomango looks better as a composition for me. But i too like Misty Paradise more ...i don't know why :)
Did you tried Cyanomango in the same way ( post ) ?
yes Kadri ^^
but that wasn't "interesting" to try the same postwork twice ^^
:)
i'll post some animation of the first render later this month i think... without postwork...
cool, cant wait to see it :)
working on the same tgd, i get this one in the earlier stages of tweaking : http://www.flickr.com/photos/7thcircle/4480865359/sizes/o/
i know there is some problem in it, like aliasing and all, but... well it might worth a look...
Misty Paradise - my new desktop wallpaper :)
Very good, Franck, very good!
Frank
hey Frank !!!
thanks dude !
Nice set of images, and I prefer the first one. For the artistic flavor. I knew a painter who once painted a mist veiled forest in kind of the same color scheme, a bit ghostly, but serene. In the second one, the lighting is great, but the trunks of the trees bother me somehow... to squarish, too rough? But perhaps these trees are supposed to be that way.

Misty paradise is my favourite too! I agree that the trunks look a bit strange, but otherwise it is fantastic. The distribution and variety of the plants look very natural.
indeed, i don't really like the trunks too... but... well the model was pretty nice (except for this squarry trunk) so i used it anyway ^^
Cool work, Seth!
Artistic and beautiful, as usual.

I very much do like where you're going with this, would be pure awesomeness to see this picture in higher quality if possible :)
thanks ^^
maybe i'll do something about that :)
not sure if i am going to continue on this one but... well i'll see what i can do :p
Impressive work all over!
Both images invoke ideas for future projects ...your creativity is inspiring.
