that looks like a 15 year old video game capture shot so far :D

A nice idea in general, but the only thing the video shows is that this technology works fast with static scenes. However, data structures that allow very fast access (like trees) happen to have a collective downside: Writing data takes forever. And even if animations could be baked into the point cloud data, physical effects are dynamic and would require making huge changes to the data at runtime.
