Title: animation keyframe problem
Post by: Sdados on April 08, 2010, 05:15:12 PM
first of all hi everyone! im new on this forum and in the use of terragen.

I started to use terragen 2 since a few days and i wanted to try to make an animation. As written in the tutorial "introduction to terragen 2 animation" in the wiki, i tried to add a keyframe for the camera position clicking on the button with the integral symbol and an A. The only thing that i can see in the menu is "import from text file". There isn't the Add keyframe option as written in the menu... where can i find it?

I hope that i didn't ask a stupid question but i couldn't find an answer in the forum... thank you!

Hi,

You need to purchase the Terragen 2 with Animation package before you can animate. You cannot animate with the free version.

Regards,

Jo

Maybe give away some bare bones basic animation features just so us po folk can try it out?  :'(

You can do it. You'll need to calculate the camera positions and stuff by hand. Then input each by hand for each image. It's very 1985, but it would work.
