Title: VISION - Sci-fi type world.
Post by: Owen-G-P on April 21, 2010, 06:38:36 PM
Hi you guys, I havent visited for months as i forgot my password lol, but long story short im back. I made a cool render in Terragen 2 a couple of days ago and I'de like to share it with you. I wasnt going for photorealism, or creating a life like scene. I just wanted to create a nice artistic landscape that people would enjoy looking at. Anyway here it is, I'm still very unexperienced with the software so don't expect any complicated terrain etc. :D

Lovely work :) Did you render this with Ray trace shadows enabled in the atmo tab?

Very nice colours and the silhouetted landscape is well done.

Im not sure I think I would have left it as the default, I read a guide giving tips on what render settings to use so not sure how some of the options would effect my render. Next time I will also try to figure out how to get nice clouds. Thanks everyone for the comments by the way. :)

Very nice render, simple but well composed and elegant.
