Just a comment: whenever you read about multi mirror telescopes you NEVER find a mention to the man who invented the concept, Guido Horn d'Arturo. He has not even a Wikipedia entry. You can read about his work here http://www.bo.astro.it/~biblio/Horn/Horn_page/novembre.htm (http://www.bo.astro.it/~biblio/Horn/Horn_page/novembre.htm) (use google translate if you do not know italian). It is incredible. Like talking about telescope and ignoring Galileo...
