Post by: FrankB on April 26, 2010, 01:13:47 PM
almost there, like almost at the summit, but quite a tough way to go.

This is a great series of renders, the sky is brilliant but the tree on the top left is really struggling to hang on!

This is incredible, the postwork (?) adds very much to the image! :)

Is there any postwork on this? Just seems a little "glowy" to me, but that may be just the scene's strong lighting. In any case, looks great!

yes I ran the render through a picasa filter, don't remember which one. It created that glowy, blurry effect, but it's applied relatively softly here.

I know how to do that in Photoshop (the glowy, blurry effect). Duplicate your original image layer, then blur it and set to Screen mode. Change the brightness/contrast until you get the effect you want, then change the layer opacity.

Ohhhh, I've missed this one! Very nice job on your texturing  and with the vegetation, they both look extremely realistic. My only knock on this one is the aforementioned precariously balanced tree, bedsides that this is golden!

That rock face is near photo real!
