Title: Local contrast enhancement
Post by: domdib on May 01, 2010, 05:10:47 AM
A handy little tip that makes a visible difference to renders if you own PS or another prog with Unsharp Mask

Sounds interesting. And the results are nice.
Since it is quite difficult to see the difference in the given example, I did a quick comparison.

You can find it here: http://iec.frakrate.com/

Just hover over an image to see the difference. The first one is the Local Contrast Enhancement (labeled Unsharp Mask because that's what is used), second one is standard level adjustment and third one is both combined.
