My first planet render in TG2. The second, smaller planet has an extremely thin atmosphere, so I made the shadows darker in Photoshop, as well as some color correction to the other planet (changed the atmosphere halo color). Comments/thoughts/critiques/suggestions appreciated!

neat, I like the atmospher and the planet coloring. only thing I would change is make the clouds a bit smaller becuase it might get rid of the rings.

It looks like you've got some acceleration cache issues with your clouds, but other than that, you've got a nice image with a fantastic sense of depth.

thanks. I wondered what was wrong with the clouds, I'll try disabling the acceleration cache and see if that helps

Those cloud rings are really wierd.
