Is everything ok back at the ranch?
Just wondering as there has been no posts by any Planetside staff for nearly a week, despite some interesting and worthy topics.
It could of course be that there are now sufficient users with a deep understanding of Terragen that their direct intervention is no longer needed.
Or ... .. .
Are they in a secret meeting, planning the future of out beloved software, or maybe we're about to see the next point release!!
Or... .. .
Maybe they've been kidnapped by Eon who have had to resort to a final solution or admit defeat!!
:)
Just wondering out loud :)
Richard
I guess the latter must be it! ;D ;D ;D

thats a horrid nightmare... them annoucing TG 3 will release next month, followed by TG 4.0 in September?
Not to worry, the upgrade fee will only be $600 between each version.
Thats when we know they were bought by eon.
Personally I just hope they are distracted and busy with 64bit.
Nah, they are preparing for the next update which will finally add button 9.
TG2 never was a working program without it.
edit: i think they where working on this for month, as its hard to implement...
KIDNAPPED BY EON SOFTWARE???we have to save them, before it's too late, before they interrogate them for their secrets.
lets form a rescue team, we'll break them out from under their noses.

Sorry, but 8.5 clouds are on pair of the best TG2 renders... no more need for E-On to interrogate Planetside people.
Were not DAZ a soft-porn producers company, THEY would have a real interest in such a wet operation (for Carrara).
Bye...
I had a little vacation to Monterey to visit the aquarium. I highly recommend the sea horse exhibit! ;D
Sorry about the lack of response in the meantime. We've all been a bit busy. Some nice things coming down the pipe though. :)
I'm catching up on the forum now and pointing out threads to dev where necessary...

Button 9, right?
Programmers with social lives? How scandalous! ::)
Everyone needs a break. It really does help the imagination and keeps the projects progression less of a chore.
Hi,
I haven't been around much because I'm moving house this week - right when we've had a month's worth of rain in two days which has closed the road a few times and just in time for the first big snowfall of winter!
Regards,
Jo

No :-). Shifting house perhaps? Anyway, we're going from one house to live in another house.
I have seen a number of actual houses being moved, would see about 1 a year on the island I used to live on up north. There's a big yard on the outskirts of our nearest city which has a whole lot of houses "parked" in it, waiting for buyers. There's probably 3 or 4 houses down in the valley which have been moved on to the land in the last few years.
Regards,
Jo
I once came across a house sitting in the main (and only) intersection of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. It was also the highway that passed through town, so all traffic in and out of that end of town was stopped. Apparently a truck moving a house didn't see the overhead structures in the intersection and they pulled the house completely off, plop in the middle. What a sight that was, and no camera! I also saw some legs with red shoes sticking out from under but they disappeared. :D
