Title: Angkor Heights
Post by: schmeerlap on September 26, 2010, 10:56:11 AM
Latest pretty pic render.
Still evidence of bubblewrapping (effects of image map cylindrical projection), although I'm restricting/blending/diluting the effect a wee bit more.
Heightfield generated using GeoControl.

Great work getting the strata layers to behave so well. The tops of the cliffs look very good against the smooth area of  the strata.

Fire up the printer and sharpen the matte cutter; this one will be framed!
