Title: xml edit
Post by: airflamesred on January 27, 2011, 04:20:38 PM
I have an xml file I wish to edit so I opened it, edited saved elsewhere and then dragged onto my original. Now, when I open up the program thats using it, I find its reverted back to its original. Well, well, well.
Anyone have any ideas? Is this the correct method? Any help is much apreciated.
thanks in advance
Mark

not sure if this will help?

Thanks Inky
I've used them before when doing HTML. Editing is not really the problem - I even deleted the original (and deleted from the recycle bin) The program is still reading the original from somewhere. So I've decided its beyond my capabilities. Not the end of the world. Going to slap some nodes into shape instead!

What didi you use to edit the file? I suggest you use an xml editor (http://www.liquid-technologies.com/xml-editor.aspx) and save in the program folder.
