Title: Second Differential

Hi all,

If you've ever done calculus you may recall the second differential of a function (2D or 3D).   This is handy in working out where the tops of peaks and bottom of valleys are.

When shading, the use of the angle parameter provides a pretty good means of shading peaks and troughs - but the results can occassionaly miss expectations (e.g. separately shading the bottom of ripples on an angular plane).

So I was wondering, would an additional "second differential" option (possibly in combination with "angle") provide a worthwhile way of varying the shading?

I think the addition of calculus functions like differentiation and integration to the node network would unlock a lot more potential in tg2.

Unless they're already there and I've missed them...
