Title: Mac version crash advisory - Editing Power Fractal smallest scale param
Post by: jo on April 19, 2007, 01:12:32 AM
Hi everyone,

There is a reproducible crashing problem when you edit the smallest scale parameter of the Power Fractal node. The problem only occurs when the value is set to 0, unfortunately this will occur, for example, during the process of changing 0.1 to 0.2 ( when you delete the 1 before typing the 2 ). We've been able to fix it and will get a new version out as soon as we can, although I don't have a timeframe for that at this point.

This problem is such an easy sort of one to trigger that I thought I'd mention it so Mac users can avoid it until we can get a fix out. I'll look into other nodes to see if they have similar problems.

Regards,

Jo

Too late. Been there done that. Nice to know why, though.

Thank you, I have not found any other variables that do that. It only seems to do it for me if I also have a very small terrain feature variable :-\. Ah well, thanks again
