May your render times be short and your detail high :)

O.O

I'm surprised when I get a render that takes more than 40 mins !! Mind you - I'm not exactly pushing TG yet heh

My render times were ~ 1hr, and I have a semi-high end system (It's got a faster CPU and video card than some of the newer ones, but has an outdated motherboard, video-card (doesn't support some new games because I have old shaders  :-[), and memory (because of the old motherboad)).

I'm using a laptop with a not terribly fast processor (1.5GHz) and only 512Mb RAM - going to be saving my pennies for a beast of a PC to replace it - multicore proc and as much RAM as I can stuff into it.  I'm idly contemplating seeing if I can get hold of 2003 Server 'cos it will support a lot more RAM than XP will

Merry Christmas!   TG2 sure beats the rubbish on TV now.
