Title: How do I get objects for Terragen?
Post by: ronberchin on August 04, 2013, 07:09:22 PM
Stupid question perhaps, but how do I get assets like trees and vegetation that are compatible with Terragen? Where do I get content?! I have a number of files from XFrog for example but they are not in the .tgo format. And I can't seem to find a way to export them from some other package in the right format. I'm following a tutorial where a file Pop Pine01.tgo is loaded...so, where did that come from. I'm coming over from VUE so all this is very new and mysterious to me. Thanks for your help.

Terragen will load obj, lwo and now fbx files as well as it's own native tgo format.

Hi,

TG doesn't support FBX import for objects (i.e. geometry) yet. There is more info here:
