Title: Birch
Post by: MGebhart on October 05, 2013, 11:55:55 AM
This Birch is a test tree using a new technique for placing leaves using phyllotaxis in Blender.

This allows better placement of the leaf meshes along a branch.

The branches are not the correct shape and have an incorrect image map applied. This is only a test.

This model is poly heavy and should be used as a foreground tree.

Not bad at all. Blender rocks (except for the sucky interface which appears to be on the verge of a badly needed overhaul)
