Title: Plant Life during the Jurassic
Post by: PabloMack on January 11, 2014, 05:24:44 PM
I stumbled across this website trying to find out more about what the plant life was like during the Jurassic. Since there were no Angiosperms, it was a very different world. It turns out that the Bennettites were very common. This is a diverse group of plants that made up to one third of plant communities during that time but they are all extinct now. The articles are short but are very fascinating. Few people know about these plants but dinosaurs were very familiar with them.

I also stumbled across a book that is supposed to be released next month. I can hardly wait to get my grubby little hands on it:
