Title: frame jumps to one
Post by: Dune on February 17, 2014, 03:50:36 AM
What happens if you open a tgd that was made in animation version, and want to render frame 6 in a non-animation version? In this case the tgd immediately went to frame 1, and also after setting the frame number to 6, hitting render meant that the frame jumped to one again. Is that expected behavior? In other words, can a higher frame not be rendered in a non-animation version?

It is more a question that Planetside should answer but if you think about that Terragen doesn't ask at loading (not sure)
which frame to load defaulting to 0 or 1 looks reasonable.
Could be a feature to implement maybe ?

Non-animation versions can only render frame 1.
