Title: Gallery Night & Asperger syndrome
Post by: Zairyn Arsyn on April 02, 2014, 11:48:27 PM
I happen to have Asperger syndrome.

Tonight was Gallery Night at the FSU Speech and Hearing Clinic
I attend a social skills class for people with aspergers syndrome at the clinic on wendsady evenings
4 local Tallahassee artists with AS showing off their work
i had 7 framed prints of renders on display, mostly all TG stuff with one Mandelbulb3D render.

Went pretty well, some were mistaken for photographs. :)

Oh boy, I hope you didn't get my Asperger comment in my "Keep your computer clean" thread wrong. I didn't want to offend you or anyone else. If I did, I'm deeply sorry!!!
I was just referring to a character of the Boston Legal series, who has the Asperger syndrome.

Sorry to hear that, Zlain. But I hope you can make some sales. Anyway, it's a good compliment you got about the realism!

I always like those "where was this taken?" comments.

I wouldn't say I worry, more like to have difficulty.

I see. But I would not of guessed that either. You must have a lot of success in your efforts? Anyway, even without extra difficulties I have a hard time with certain things. I feel like an alien sometimes. For the life of me I never understood why people like being in crowds, like a mall for example. People like to parade around in front of strangers. I just don't get it. It feels really awkward to me to sort of play that game.
Not that its the same or anything. Just that you have my best wishes.
