With this file, you should be able to glean the settings required to (1) displace a Sphere object so as to create a large rock or boulder; and (2), partially cover the rock/boulder with a population of grass objects so as to simulate Moss. See the link for details: http://www.planetside.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic,18456.msg179345.html#new
Enjoy.

Well I'm a tad disappointed as I couldn't get this to load, even long enough to delete the pops which I don't have. Could you maybe upload a Ver. 2 sans vegetation....I can populate on the rocks O K, and just got Walli's Lichen package for added realism. Thanks in advance Bob.
Bob
Bobby, I'll send you an email re this.
Nice work - should be handy.

Thank you Mick, hope you can put it to good use.
Thanks for the file,
For an option - the moss/grass/fern model could be set to lay down nearly 90 degrees with its transform values to simulate the type that creeps along the ground.
Thanks for this option, looks interesting.
hey many thanks for this @choronr! i'm experimenting with your moss because i want to use for my iceland WIP ;) http://www.planetside.co.uk/forums/index.php/topic,19532.0.html. I tried with Walli lichen grabbed from here http://wallis-eck.de/2013/2013/05/project-lichen/ and i used the smallpatch023.tgo. See the image attached.
You are welcome. What you've done is looking real good, will have to try it.

I forgot tho let the .tgd file. Try it if you want.
Thanks Walt, always enjoy working with rock formations, especially now with the ability of populating objects onto them.
