I work on Fakes Stones Shaders and I prepare some tgc for later projects.
I am not sure but it seems that Altitude Constraints in Surface layer or Distribution Shader can't see the altitude of the fake stones.
I tested the slope and it works fine. Not sure about altitude or maybe i missed something.
Any idea or confirmation ?

Did you use final position? Then it should...
