Could you direct me to some nice tutorial on how to make basic animations? That's the first time ever I'd like to have a go at it so I'd like to know where to begin.
In general I'd like someone to tell me these things:
- Do I need any software apart from TG to do TG animations?
- How to animate at least camera, to do some very, very simple "fly-throughs"?
- How to process all the sequences and assemble an animation out of this?
I already tried to play a bit with animation keys, trying to edit clouds and it was fun. However, I don't have a slightest idea what to do later, when rendering sequences is done. Well... I know nothing on animation really...
So just let me know where I can start learning - some absolute basics, like putting the camera in motion.
Thanks for all advice!
Have a look at these ones. If you have other questions just ask again.
Not sure if the last one is paid or not. If you have the paid version of Terragen look at your account page for your products.
There are some tutorials for free i think..
After you have rendered your animation as an image sequence (sequentially numbered still images) you have to use a video editor to make a video from them.
It could be a basic free one like Virtualdub or Sony Vegas,Adobe Premiere etc.
Thanks Kadri. Another software to complete a movie... Well, that's what I was afraid of. :P But I found some software to do that. Video Mach looks good.
