Title: C4D, PoseRay Problem, Help....
Post by: Mandrake on August 04, 2007, 02:19:34 PM
When I import from C4D, I get an: GLenum argument out of range (drawobjects())

The mtl will generate but won't be seen by TG2

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm pulling my hair out. ;)

Heheh... if you figure it out, let me know, because I'm having issues with .c4d files as well.

I hear C4D's native OBJ export is well known to be poor. Some have suggested the "Riptide" (http://skinprops.com/riptide.php) plugin as an alternative (free).

I started over from scratch with 3 quick primitives to make an obj. with 3 image maps attached. No bump maps. So I guess it's all in the material handling. I hope a bump can be used because they add so much to an obj. So anyone know where to draw the line with the Mats? Oh, Poseray ran fine, mtl, was fine.
