Title: Need some help while editing a network: how create a group ?
Post by: chaps on August 06, 2007, 02:26:27 PM
Hello, I am trying to clean up some project I have done, and I would like to create groups for different functions.

I can call create_other/group, rename it give nice color, expand it... and put some function in it...

But they are not sticked together. If I move the group, only the box moves, all the functions remain at the same place.

I saw some *.tgd in this forum where it is not the case, but I can't find any information how to achieve it?

Could you tell me how to do this?

Thanks

Chaps

Make sure all your nodes pertaining to that group are inside the group box. Then right click the group box on the top bar and choose capture nodes. You should then be able to move all together.

A few other things...

You can add extra nodes to the group individually
The nodes don't have to actually be inside the group box to be captured
Releasing nodes from a group will release ALL nodes.
