I think how to get the lines to follow the terrain's actual contour Ulco. That'd be my request as well.

If I'm not mistaken the contour shader is for things like isolines.
And what you want seems to be something like an outlining,which
can't be done with that shader,as far as I know.
As usual my assumption might be wrong of course.

You could perhaps use the contour for strata, but it's not very flexible, I think.

yeah sorry I should have posted my question into here as well. (So I have a question..Is there a way to accurately set the contour shader to "adhere/follow" to the contours?)

The contour applied directly is hard to modify but Contour can be useful as a mask for colors or displacement. The masked results can then be warped, etc.

For example, it's just the thing for making a groady alien worm from a sphere.
