Title: Image Map Shader Help
Post by: elipsis1 on October 29, 2015, 11:18:17 AM
Hello, I'm attaching a nebula I made for use as an image map.

I'm having trouble connecting it up in my scene, can someone just take the default scene and modify it so the nebula shows as the sky and upload?

I probably will learn better seeing how it is connected up.

I did do a forum search but what I have tried so far has not worked.

You should read the message of Hannes on the following topic. Very clear

Hope it will be helpful

So I am not sure exactly what I clicked to make it work, but I'm uploading the file again.

I think now I need to figure out how to scale the image properly, or a spherical projection...

2 things could make a problem here.
Image too small and with a bigger image and size values in image map shader 1 , 1
it works

Perhaps this is what you need.

interesting Dune, you just plugged the image map into the luminosity function.  Seemed to do the trick.
