Title: Texturing/Shading question
Post by: archonforest on April 05, 2016, 01:51:35 PM
I have a complex object with 10 parts shader. Unfortunately the textures are missing so I decided to change the color of the individual parts shaders so the object at least looks kinda real. Problem starts here. There is one part shader that unfortunately covers several parts of the mesh and those parts actually should be covered with different colors.

So is there a free program where I can edit what parts of the mesh will be under what shader?

It might be that if you open it in Poseray that there still are all the groups/layers, which you can regroup.

You should give Wings3D a try.
