Been trying all A M to get transparency to work through an Image shader in a Surface layer with zero luck. Here's a screen grab and a .tgd. Any pointers on what I'm doing wrong/not doing at all would be greatly appreciated even though it's likely to make me feel like an idiot.
I works as advertised in a Default shader but resists all my attempts in a Surface layer set up. Image in the .rar
Plug the image into the child layer not colour.

Thanks Mick and as predicted I feel a right proper idiot as I knew this a long time ago(Ulco told me I think)....sigh...& heh heh; but thanks really...was making me nuts. I've put this in my tips/reminders folder for future senior moments.
