Interesting, but...practical use?
I suppose when someone gets good at it, you could paint in such a way that the image would morph into something else depending on the angle viewed.
Soon, you will see people acting weirdly in the streets ;) but fascinating indeed.
So pedestrians will look like they are all high on shrooms. ;)
