Title: More PF shading sunflowers
Post by: luvsmuzik on November 03, 2016, 03:34:20 PM
These images are both rough, but show where I am going here.

Image one, simple sunflower object with four color shaders.

Image two, color function, transform input set to world position, PF with very small scale for color mapping, displacement applied for bumps in brown center. To put it simply, the first render of the flower center resembled a chocolate chip cookie, then I halved that scale in the transform input.

So here is a new sunflower object. A little progress. :)
Power fractal shader on petals.

Since these are just tests, perhaps move the sun around to highlight the flower petals a bit more?

Thanks all! :)
